What sets us apart
AURA is a family-owned company founded in 1982 – and that’s exactly how we see our employees: as part of a family. Our goal is not just to hire staff, but to build a sustainable, growing team that works together over many years. Many of our colleagues have been part of the AURA family for a long time, some for more than 25 years.
At the same time, young graduates and apprentices enrich our company as an important part of the team. Whether in sales, service, or engineering, whether as plant mechanics, electricians, or commissioning engineers – every employee plays a vital role and is essential to our success.

At AURA, more than 90 people are involved in every step – from the initial customer inquiry and first design concepts to training during system commissioning. This means true collaboration and holistic thinking within a diverse, global team.
We are always looking for motivated people who want to shape the future together with us. If you are engaged, open-minded, and ready to think beyond the box, you’ll feel right at home at AURA.
From cycling competitions and company runs to our annual summer party – we’re delighted that so many colleagues enjoy spending time together outside the workplace and enthusiastically take part in our team events.
We believe that a motivated and happy team is the foundation of our shared success. For us, fruit baskets, drinks, flexible working hours, and many other benefits are a given. That’s why we offer a broad range of attractive perks that go beyond the standard benefits.

We enjoy celebrating as a team and host at least two team events every year.
Training & Development
We believe in investing in the future – and continuous learning is a key part of that.
For the first few months, a structured onboarding plan is prepared in advance. It always consists of a general part, in which the key aspects of AURA are covered, such as the organizational structure and processes, product portfolio, and core processes.
In addition, there is a role-specific part that is tailored to your background and may be delivered internally or externally. You will also have meetings with the individual departments to quickly understand their responsibilities and how they work together.
You can easily reach us by car via the B9 or B35. We offer plenty of free parking spaces on site. The train station is about a 20-minute walk away. Covered bicycle parking is also available.
The standard working time is 35 hours per week. Depending on the position, this can be individually increased to up to 40 hours per week. Overtime is credited to working time accounts and does not expire.
Unfortunately, we do not have an on-site cafeteria. However, there is a supermarket with a bakery as well as fast-food restaurants within walking distance. Food delivery services are also a popular option.
