Industrial Process Heat Rental System

Temporary industrial process heating up to 600 kW

An unexpected heating system failure, planned maintenance or a modernization project can create significant challenges for industrial production. With the AURA thermal oil rental system, companies can temporarily maintain or supplement their process heating supply without immediately investing in a new permanent installation.

Our electrically heated mobile process heat system provides heating capacities of up to 600 kW and supply temperatures of up to 315°C. The compact, containerized system can be installed indoors or outdoors and integrated into suitable existing industrial process heating installations. AURA handles delivery and commissioning of the rental system.

Bridge planned shutdowns, maintenance periods or unexpected heating system failures with a flexible temporary process heat solution.

When is temporary industrial process heating required?

A temporary process heat supply can be essential in several industrial situations.

During unexpected heating system failures: An unexpected failure of an existing process heating system can interrupt production and result in significant costs. A temporary industrial heating system can provide replacement heating capacity while the original installation is repaired or replaced. Whether production can continue depends on the required temperatures, heating capacity and available connection points.

During maintenance and repairs: When an existing heating system must be shut down for maintenance or repair work, a rental system can help reduce production interruptions. The temporary heat supply can be integrated into the existing infrastructure, provided the technical requirements are met.

During modernization and retrofits: Replacing, upgrading or electrifying an industrial process heating system may require temporary heating capacity during certain project phases. AURA’s rental system can help bridge suitable periods of the conversion process.

During temporary increases in heat demand: Industrial production requirements can change temporarily. A rental heating system can provide additional heating capacity for a limited period, depending on the existing system configuration and process requirements.

Frequently asked Questions about the Industrial Process Heat Rental System

The AURA rental system generates industrial process heat using electrically heated thermal oil.

The thermal oil circulates through an internal heating circuit, where electrical heating elements raise its temperature to the required operating level.

The heated thermal oil then transfers its thermal energy to the connected process heating installation.

Because the rental unit has its own independent thermal oil circuit, the generated heat can also be transferred to suitable systems using other heat transfer media.

This requires an appropriately designed heat transfer interface.

The actual integration depends on the operating temperatures, flow rates, heating capacity and technical requirements of the existing installation.

Fast integration: The compact, containerized rental system is designed for temporary integration into existing industrial process heating installations.

This can reduce on-site installation work compared with constructing a completely new heating system.

Flexible installation: The rental unit is supplied in a 20-foot high-cube container and can be installed indoors or outdoors, provided suitable site conditions are available.

Electric process heating: The rental system generates heat electrically and does not require a gas or oil supply.

No combustion-related CO₂ or NOₓ emissions are generated at the installation site.

Independent thermal oil circuit: The internal thermal oil circuit allows the generated heat to be transferred to suitable existing process heating systems through an appropriate interface.

Temporary heat supply: The rental system provides heating capacity for a limited period without requiring the immediate purchase of a permanent heating installation.

Delivery and commissioning by AURA: AURA handles delivery and commissioning and supports the technical integration of the rental unit into the existing infrastructure.

Before deployment, AURA checks whether the technical requirements of the existing process heat system match the rental system’s performance data.

Important parameters include:

  • Required heating capacity
  • Required flow and return temperatures
  • Heat transfer medium
  • Required flow rate
  • Available electrical supply capacity
  • Existing connection points
  • Available installation space
  • Distance between the rental system and heat consumers
  • Planned rental period

Based on this information, AURA can assess how the rental system may be integrated into the existing system.

Yes. Integration into existing thermal oil systems is generally possible, provided the technical requirements are met. Temperatures, flow rates, heating capacity and available connection options must be assessed.

Yes. The rental system is delivered in a 20-foot high-cube container and is designed for installation both indoors and outdoors. The required site and connection conditions must be checked before deployment.

The rental period is agreed for each project, subject to system availability. The rental system can, for example, provide temporary heat during maintenance, repairs or modernisation work.

Yes. AURA arranges delivery and commissioning of the rental system. The preparations required at the installation site and the integration with the existing process heat system are clarified as part of project coordination.
